Dr. Sureka Bollepalli is the CEO and Medical Director of Tampa Bay Medical Research. She is a board-certified Endocrinologist with over 20 years of experience conducting NIH and industry sponsored clinical trials. She has been involved in all stages of research study development, including protocol development, conducting studies as the lead investigator, data analysis and data publication. As Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida, she has given numerous lectures on diabetes and obesity, teaching college, nursing, medical students and residents, and Endocrine fellows. After 20 years in academics, Dr. Bollepalli knows the importance of incorporating education into her clinical care. Her expertise in metabolic diseases, including type 2 diabetes and NASH have provided patients with opportunities for advancing treatments.

She is passionate about preventive care and has started a community health initiative offering free fibroscans to the community to help identify individuals with NASH, and provide education on the disease process as well as information on available therapies.

She is a passionate runner and avid tennis player and enjoys traveling with her 3 children and husband.
